Sufism is the study of the inner nature of things and the interpretation of the meanings of existence. The word Sufism comes from the Arabic word Suf, meaning "good", and the heart. The Sufis believe that the heart is the most important part of a person, and that it is connected to the soul. The Sufis also believe that the soul is a part of God, and that the whole universe is in the custody of the Almighty. They believe that God is both the creator and the ruler of the universe.
In the book "Tawdry", Sufi says, "There is none worthy of worship except God, the Creator, the Originator, the Fashioner, to Him belong the most beautiful names, whatever is in the heavens and on earth, and do declare that there is none worthy of worship except God."
The Sufi seeks to understand the meaning of existence, and the main significance of things, as well as the connection between God and His creation. He seeks to know God and become a partner in His revelation. He seeks to eliminate his own desires, and to live in the world as it were a garden, free from all desires and all evil desires.
